More travel this week. I have reached a point where it’s just common place to be shuffling through TSA lines and riding on planes. I’ve got it down now, even the gluten free meal/snacks I pack for myself to eat on the plane. It’s an oddly nice feeling, if I do say so.
This week I headed back to California for a long weekend. I am committed to a 2 year (at least) Tantric Sadhana Sangha. Which essentially means that I’m committed to a spiritual community that comes together to learn about and engage in spiritual meditative practices together.
It’s these gatherings that make me wish that it wasn’t just a dinner diary that I kept. When this group comes together, the potlucks are out of this world. This group knows good food that feeds the body and soul. The Chai tea that is constantly brewing is nothing short of medicine and there are always plenty of gluten free items, including breads for me to partake in. I might have to do a post just on this sometime soon.
With that said, there wasn’t much time or energy to cook any food, despite the fact that I had a kitchen all weekend. I took my mom out to dinner on Friday night and we did take out at our AirBnb. Sunday was just so crazy in terms of time, driving and family matters that I didn’t eat at all.
