Gratitude + The Bounty Of Food
Food Practice Through The Seasons: Fall, brings us into the time of year marked by countless holiday gatherings - just about all centered around food.
Thanksgiving stands out in a line up of holiday's that brings together the celebrations of old, that of honoring the seasonal harvest and all the work that went into creating that harvest through the preceding year.
In the universe of Food Practice, this season marries together both the importance of food in our lives and how that bounty is a reminder of all we have to be grateful for in our lives, not the least of which is how we dance with the spiritual lessons of each season.
Fall, the Path Of Gratitude is a guide in bringing the healing and magic of gratitude into your Life through the lens of food. Together, over the course of the 13 weeks of Fall we will:
- Cultivate your ability to be present through gratitude and beauty
- Explore the power of blessing and prayer, even when not religious
- Identify patterns of Scarcity vs Abundance mentality + how to expand your sense of possibility
- Learn your Satiation point
- Create your own definition of a successful Thanksgiving
- Create boundaries and plans to mitigate holiday triggers
- Learn a beautiful way to bless with abundance
May you know deeply, that in order for what you take in to be enough, you must know... deeply and truly, that you are enough. Yes. You are enough. More, actually.

A Fall Blessing For You
As the cycle of our year begins to turn its journey towards the waning sunlight, may you know deeply, into the marrow of your bones, that enough is possible. That even in the smallest grain of food, enough is available to you.
May your heart and soul find stillness and peace. Enough so that you slow down and fully feel the breadth and depth of what you have in your life.
May your being know nourishment in it’s fullest and highest form. And may your table, whether set for one or too many to count, be a source of love, connection and healing every day of your Life.
May you know deeply, that in order for what you take in to be enough, you must know... deeply and truly, that you are enough. Yes. You are enough. More, actually.
May you know this. Know this. Know this.

Gratitude Takes You Deeper
Food Practice is about creating intimate connection and meaning in your Life through the relationship you have with food.
The deeper you go, the more present with your food you become.
The more you receive from the experience - the more you are nourished, lifted and aided in the thriving of your Life.
What happens when you take that awareness and in the moment experience and rejoice with gratitude for the bounty you are receiving?
Gratitude makes eating an experience of holy rejoicing and deep heart felt emotional cracking open.
Gratitude takes eating and turns it into a continuous prayer of gratitude and joy.
Gratitude deepens the nourishment you receive with every bite of food you take.

This book is written from the perspective of life in the Northern Hemisphere. Fall in the Northern half of our planet is very different than Fall in the Southern half of our planet. If you happen to be from the Southern half, the practices in this book are still just as relevant to you, but will be out of sync with the seasonal references I make.
