Know The Source

Farm Crop

“When most of us sit down to eat a meal, we haven’t the slightest awareness of how our everyday food choices affect the health of our planet.  But, in fact,  all things are strongly connected.  Everything is part of everything else.  Nothing really stands alone.  We don’t always see the connection between one phenomenon and another, but the planet earth is a living, breathing ecological entity held together by trillions of different occurrences that appear to be separate but are actually highly interconnected.”

This is why it's so important for us to visit and support farmer's markets, organic farms, and community gardens. Cheers to following the Gaia Path 🙂

Beautiful words–Gigabiting has a recent post on the sad phenomenon of large companies jumping on the locavore bandwagon. Very frustrating!
