Super Bowl Eats

February 7, 2011 by Elena Rego 1 Comment

We were planning on going to our neighbors house for the Super Bowl, but due to a family emergency that was canceled and Jon and I ended up going to Cafe Aroma.  They were showing the game and offering a bevy of snack foods for people to eat.

It was a rather chilled out affair, and we enjoyed getting a chance to run into other friends we hadn’t expected to see that day.  Of course, I was unable to eat much of what was offered for free at the bar so Jon and I ended up ordering some food.

So here is my Super Bowl Eats list:

~Shrimp Martini with pesto, horse radish and cocktail sauce, topped with a juicey fat olive.

~Chicken Cesar Salad, hold the croutons!

~Bowl of Tater Tots fried in duck fat.  Yes, Cafe Aroma even gets gourmet with their tater tots.

Oh and my favorite commercial, you wonder?  The Darth Vader vs. Volkswagon commercial was by far the best in my opinion!  I still have no idea who won the game.
