2nd Annual Foodbuzz Food Bloggers Festival

November 1, 2010 by Elena Rego 10 Comments

We leave tomorrow! Fa la la la laaaaaaa!  I can’t wait to meet all the great food bloggers involved as well as the chance to have amazing amounts of food.  Oh there will be classes of course, but I wonder if I’ll be conscious for them after all wine and food tastings?  Hmmm…  you’ll have to keep checking in to find out!

Jon and I will be driving slowly up the coast because quite frankly its the most beautiful and my favorite drive of all time.  Picture taking will rule and when we finally get to the bay we’ll be staying with the fabulous Leslie Lindell for about 5 days.  In the middle of all that is the Bloggers Festival and I thought I would share the itinary of events.  If you’re any kind of foodie like me, just reading about it will be the stuff of fantasies!

Friday November 5th

Street Food Fair at Fort Mason – Herbst Pavilion

Saturday November 6th

Break out Sessions at Sir Francis Drake Hotel

Taste Pavilion at the Metreon

Gala Dinner at the Grand Hall in the Ferry Building

Sunday November 7th

Farewell Brunch at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel

Here is a video from last years event:

Then Monday is our 7 year anniversary so a special dinner will be in order either that night or the following night, I’m not sure yet.  I need to squeeze in some time to hang with my girl Leslie and with this kind of jammed packed weekend who knows what will happen.

I will be posting throughout the next week to share the sights and words from it all.  And please if you have any great, local, organic and healthy restaurant and food finds to offer, we can try to hit some of them up while we’re out there!
