So I keep wanting to do a huge introductory post about Cafe Aroma, but I’m backed up on photos, so I’m just jumping in. This is by far Jon and I’s favorite restaurant. After over 6 years of coming here, its become more then just a place with fabulous food. Its become family. That place where literally everyone knows your name. We go to Cafe Aroma every Wednesday to work, which is literally a 6 hour stay, we go on Sunday’s to join the gang as we all sit down to watch our friend Connor O’Farrell in the HBO mini series The Pacific, we go for desert, we go for birthday, for Belly Dance shows, and for romantic date nights. Its an amazing restaurant and be very clear… you will hear about this place A LOT!
But for now, here’s a little morsel of Cafe Aroma goodness. This was taken on St. Patrick’s Day. They don’t have french fries on the menu, but for this day there was a Fish and Chips lunch special, and I managed to snag the last little batch of french fries with green tartar sauce made with a vibrant parsley. For me, surprises like this is just one of the many perks of being able to have whole ‘work’ days on the couch at Cafe Aroma!
Oh… and they were crazy delicious too. I hadn’t had french fries in quite a while and the indulgence for me was surprisingly light and motivating.

Well we’re always there, but definitely check in before you come up. Wednesdays are a work day for us, so its helpful to be able to play for a visit! 🙂

You made french fries look 5 star elegant, well done!

*blush* Well with food as good as they serve it at Cafe Aroma, it wasn’t that hard, but thank you! I have to say that having a food blog has really made me up my game when it comes to photography. Its been a great teacher and great practice. Now… if I could only execute awesome photos each and every time, I would be in business! 🙂
