Dearest Human Who Eats… And Is Love,
What if you just Loved yourself?
Like, the kind of ‘Love yourself‘ where when you come to mind, there is the warmth of an internal self hug that leaves you with a spring in your step. The kind of Love that leaves no room for shame or judgment or self denigrating talk that leaves you smaller than you truly are?
What if the way you loved yourself was reflected in the way you interacted with the world and the bounty it offered everyday for you to receive?
What if this included how you choose, receive and take in food?
What if everyone on the planet, including the planet, deserved the highest quality of life expression food their could be?
What if each bite of food provided your being with living energy from the sun and the magical alchemy of the elements?
What if the way you treated your body and those around you was a reflection of the quality of your Love for yourself and all of life around you?
What if food could actually be Love? Love for life, Love for what was real and true and nourishing and beautiful? Love for yourself, the planet and those you fed around you?
What if the way we have denatured food, broken it down and plastic wrapped it, polluted the planet and poisoned whatever real food is left is a reflection of how wounded we are and how disconnected we have become from Life?
What if this lack of Love is killing all of us in a sad and slow manner that diminishes the bounty and beauty Life is suppose to be and is trying to offer us?
What if every morning when you woke, the question that drove you through the day was “How can I embody Love in every single choice I make?”
How would you eat?
What would you buy?
What and how would you create?
What would you share with those around you?
What would you cook to feed you family and loved ones?
How would you feed yourself?
Let this be the Valentines Day meditation that we take with us each and every day into our days.
I Love you.
I Love me.
Actively, committedly and in service.
