We’ve been in Pennsylvania since December 2nd. We left the Caribbean to attend WordCamp US here and then decided to stay a bit longer in order to spend time with our dear friends, Jeff + Shelly and Matt + Em along with their children.
The cold weather has been a bit of a shock to the system. The day we landed we head straight to Costco to score some low priced Winter clothes to fill in the gaps that the clothes we had shipped from Idyllwild couldn’t quite cover.
I’m telling you it’s COLD.
I’m still struggling with syncing into a fast adjustment in a new kitchen. We are staying with Jeff and Shelly and they have their daily family routine and have been quite gracious about feeding us. It’s been lovely to sit at the dinner table with friends. On nights when they don’t cook, we’ve all gone out and more than anything it’s the company I’m cherishing.
So often it’s just Jon and I. Though I love that, connecting with loved ones over dinner is always special. I’m really enjoying this time.
