Passion Carrot Orange Juice

September 28, 2012 by Elena Rego 1 Comment

My awesome friend Kim came by the other day with a Juicer for me.  I haven’t had one in a while, not since I completely burned out the engine in my Juiceman a couple of years ago.  I had intended on replacing it, but then in plans to move here to Maui, I just didn’t want to add one more heavy thing to what we were shipping over here.

So now we have one! Fa la la la laaaaa!  It’s an awesome machine, and Jon and I began juicing immediately.  I’m thinking of increasing the frequency of our CSA box just so I have enough to juice with regularly.

Passion Carrot Orange Juice

2 yellow carrots

2 red carrots

3 Jamaican passion fruits

1 blood orange

I found that juicing Passion Fruit isn’t really optimal.  Straining the pulp into the glass direction seems to be most effective.
