Food Practice Weekly, finally got a revamp… sort of. Periscope didn’t feel right for the intimacy I want to hold space for in our chats about our personal relationship with food and creating a mindful food culture for ourselves. I love the spontaneity of Periscope and how amazing it is for connecting with new people, but the topic just didn’t feel right.
In the meantime, Facebook added it’s live broadcast feature, which feels like the perfect answer.
Food Practice Gathering Circle is a private group on Facebook, for those of you who want a safe intimate space to hang out, share and discuss Food Practices. I’ll be broadcasting live, there for those in the group, so we can chat in real time. I’ll save the videos and post them here later, but nothing beats being able to gather in real time and talk with one another.
With that said, my first broadcast, wasn’t. That is to say, I experienced technical difficulties with my internet connection and was only able to create a video message that then took over 24 hours to upload to the internet. (Being a digital nomad can come with it’s challenges!)
So, here is the first of many.
If you have not joined the Food Practice Gathering Circle over on Facebook and would like to be part of something that is still in it’s infancy, but ready for big things, come hang out with us. I’m excited to spend time with you.
